Group Visit Request

Group Visit Request
Missouri S&T is pleased to accommodate group visit requests. Group visits are designed for students in grades 9-12. While we try to honor all requests, visits are available on a limited capacity. We generally need two weeks notice in order to secure staff and facilities. To ensure a positive experience for visitors and any Missouri S&T staff who generously give their time, an adequate number of chaperones will be requested for all visits.

Please note: for any groups that are 15 or more minutes late, the first item on the agenda will be forfeited.

We look forward to sharing our campus with you!

  • Cancellation of visits must occur at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide appropriate cancellation notice may limit future scheduling opportunities.
  • S&T staff may contact you by phone 5 days prior to your visit to obtain a final student count and confirmation of your scheduled arrival time.
  • Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled activity.  This extra time will allow the bus to park and students to utilize the restroom facilities.  A Missouri S&T representative will meet you at the designated start location for the visit. Your personalized agenda will have an additional 15-30 minutes built in for arrival, parking, restrooms, etc.
  • For any/all group visits that arrive 15 or more minutes late, the first item on the agenda will be forfeited.
  • It is the responsibility of the chaperones/teachers to attend all sessions with the group, including campus tours. Chaperones are to be present with the group at all times and not deviate from the scheduled activities.
  • It is the responsibility of the coordinator requesting the visit to be present for the visit or provide, in advance, appropriate contact information.
  • The use of electronic devices, such as cell phones, tablets, mp3 players, or iPods, is not permitted during the visit.
  • As the visit may be in academic buildings and labs, eating during tours and presentations is not permitted. Bottled water is allowed.
  • All tours take place rain or shine and will entail a significant amount of walking outdoors.  Please dress appropriately. If students are not appropriately dressed, the visit can be modified accordingly.
  • Any changes or requests must be communicated no later the 72 hours before the visit. No deviations can be made on the day of the visit due to schedule constraints.
  • If at any time during the visit the group is deemed unruly or unmanageable by staff, the visit will end or the unruly individual(s) will be asked to leave.
