Application for the Missouri S&T Connection Award

The Missouri S&T Connection Award is for any student coming to Missouri S&T from Arkansas, Kansas or Oklahoma. The award is a 100% waiver of out of state tuition valued at approximately $18,000 a year. The award is renewable for four (4) years for freshman and two (2) years for transfer students with full time enrollment and a minimum 3.00 GPA. I understand that by accepting this award, it will replace any freshman merit scholarship (such as Groundbreaker or Distinguished Scholars), transfer merit scholarship (including Spirit of Success and Discovery Scholarships), or any other out of state scholarship(s) or waiver (such as Border County Award) that are for out of state tuition only.

I understand that any other scholarship I might receive that are not specific to out of state tuition can still be combined with this award.

I understand that I must be a U.S. citizen or permanent citizen to receive this award.

I understand that if, in the future, I apply for Missouri Residency, I will not be eligible for this award nor any freshman merit or transfer merit scholarship(s) originally awarded at the time of admission.

I understand that this is considered a waiver of out of state tuition charges and the actual award amount is based on the number of credit hours I enroll in each semester. (Approximate amount is based on 14 credit hours per semester.)

I understand to complete the acceptance of this award, I must register for either Advising and Registration by May 1, 2022 as an incoming freshman or Transfer Advising by June 1, 2022 as a new incoming transfer student.
