Miner Evolution Peer Mentor Program Application for Mentor Position

***Review of applications will begin August 6, 2020 and will continue until all positions are filled.

The Miner Evolution Peer Mentor Program is an opportunity for students in their first year at Missouri S&T to receive support from successful returning students through mentoring. Mentors serve as a supportive role model and resource person to incoming first year and transfer students. Mentors will be available as an approachable resource to respond to incoming students’ needs by actively listening, providing relevant information, and making appropriate referrals. Staff in the Student Diversity Initiatives will be available to mentors as a resource throughout the semester.  First-year and transfer students engage with student mentors and the S&T community through participation in Student Diversity Initiatives events and events specifically for participants in the program throughout the year.
